C’est Le VinA wall of wine greets you upon entering.  Although a small venue, it serves a variety of wine, mixed drinks, and beer. Our bartender, Austin, was attentive and provided excellent recommendations for a glass of vino. They also serve charcuterie boards.

Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar and Restaurant – With outside dining and a lakeside view, you can’t beat this place for a tasty bite to eat.  I enjoyed the swinging tables on the outdoor deck.

Trattoria at OWA
Trattoria

Trattoria Pizza and Italian serves Italian fare with a family vibe. The prices are right, and the service is first class.  We indulged in pasta dishes and a good glass of wine. The bread pudding was delish too.

Entertainment at OWA

Brandon Styles

Brandon Styles is a talented, young, energetic magician who began performing magic at seven.  The majority of his impressions are of singers, from Justin Bieber to Frank Sinatra. Seek out one of his performances. I know you will be amazed.

Legends in Concert

Legends in Concert at OWA found its audience in South Alabama. This is a first-class Vegas-style show featuring some of the biggest names in tribute performance entertainment.  It’s fun, professional, and rocking. You will hear screams for “Elvis” nightly.

It was nice to sit in a theater again to see a show. Covid restrictions are in place here. Our musical evening included performances with Stacey Summers (Shania Twain and Martina McBride), Corrie Sachs (Reba McIntyre), Shawn Gerhard (Garth Brooks), and Leo Days (Elvis).  All the performers were excellent and the night was fun and exhilarating.

The four hundred twenty seat theatre provides the audience with an intimate setting where you can thoroughly enjoy one of the six performances each week.

Just Announced

Legends will feature a special limited engagement from January 15 to February 7 will be the reprise of the hit show, Direct From London.  Then from February 10 to May 30, Celebrate Vegas will debut at OWA.

Direct from London had the engagement shortened due to Hurricane Sally, so the reprise will launch in January.  Four musical legends come together to pay tribute to some of the biggest icons in British music (including  Elton John, Freddie Mercury, Rod Stewart, and George Michael) together on one stage.

Celebrate Vegas will feature the Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra, and the King of Rock ‘n Roll, Elvis Presley, portrayed by the incomparable Brian Duprey and Leo Days respectively. Cher, performed by the remarkable Lisa McClowry will make you “Believe,” and Erika Moul will pay homage to Lady Gaga. Tickets for both shows are on sale.
